About Rock Solid Shelters
Rock Solid Shelters had its beginnings almost a decade ago. A little of our history will help you to understand who we are, what we offer and why we are here. And, more importantly why you should do business with us.
Well, back then our son was looking to get a portable shelter. After a bit of research and just plain looking around, the family began noticing a large variety of shelters everywhere. Have you ever noticed that when you first start thinking about something new, it seems to be everywhere, even though you hardly noticed it before?
Truth is, it just wasn't on your radar. The looking around showed us that there were a large variety of types, manufacturers, distributors, installers, etc. Eventually, a shelter was purchased and installed. It was that experience that led us, the Fitz family, to consider starting a new business to provide, install and back the finest portable shelters in the New England area.
Fast Foward
By 2016, more than a few years had passed since the formation of Over the Top Shelters. Our customer base, as well as the number of installed shelters increased. Plus, the harsh New England weather started to take a toll on some of the installed product. Because of our desire and commitment to stand behind our work, we began repairing and/or replacing parts on a number of shelters.
So, the question arose: How can we avoid these problems, improve customer satisfaction and grow our business? The answer soon became absolultely clear. The only way to deliver a high-quality product, which met our stringent demands, was to find a manufacturing partner. This also pointed to the need for us to do business under a new name, one that would reflect what we would deliver.
